About the Project
True to its name, The Wooden Wave places undulating waves of timber at the heart of the space. Continuous wooden components flow across the ceiling and walls, wrapping guests in a warm, organic dining environment for this bar and restaurant in Miami.

About the World Architecture Festival
WAF is one of the world’s largest architecture events, often described as the “World Cup of architecture”. Projects that pass a rigorous document-based screening are shortlisted as finalists, and present live before international juries at the festival, where category winners and the overall winners of the year are decided. KTX archiLAB has reached the finals for ten consecutive years, with thirteen projects shortlisted to date, including a past category win. This year, the practice heads to the final stage in Miami.
